Building 1 Project Room #2 Renovation

Bracks Construction was hired to establish and maintain the QC program for the project. The QC program consisted of a QC Manager, a QC plan, a Coordination and Mutual Understanding Meeting, QC meetings, three phases of control, submittal review and approval, testing, and QC certifications and documentation necessary to provide materials, equipment, workmanship, fabrication, construction and operations which comply with the requirements of this contract. The QC program covered on-site and off-site work and was keyed to the work sequence.

The requirement was for the prospective contractor to renovate Project Room Two (2) in the basement of Building One (1) to include, but not limited to: demolition of existing infrastructure, hazardous material abatement, new partition installation, new HVAC system installation, new electrical distribution system, new lighting, new telecommunication systems, new security items, painting, cleanup, and incidental related work, as indicated and specified. This space was to be used as a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility).
